Museum of the Bible, Washington, DC
Recently opened in late 2017, the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC documents the history and historical impact of the Bible. The museum houses 1,150 items in a permanent installation, and currently has another 2,000 items on loan from other institutions.
The MotB holds three levels of permanent exhibits, each with a different focus on Biblical history. Another level features space for an amphitheater, with room for lectures. Other levels focus on the Bible’s impact on the world’s culture.
