Christmastime is here!
And with it comes all the traditions both old and new that brings out the joy and wonder of this special season.
Whether you want to be dazzled by 28 million LED lights, have dinner in an icehouse, or meet the “real” Santa Claus – here are a few of our favorite Christmas experiences everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
Meet The “Real” Santa Claus
Want to hang out with Santa?
Your Christmas bucket list isn’t complete without a visit to Santa Claus Village in Lapland, Finland.
Here you can take a reindeer ride – in a sleigh of course – and if you’re there at the right time, you can even view the Northern Lights.
If you want a photo with the “real” Santa Claus of the Artic Circle – his elves can make that happen with a visit to the Christmas House.
And after you’re done playing with Santa, you can check out all the other winter activities like Aurora Ice Floating or having your dinner in an icehouse.
A New York Christmas
The liberal bastion of America may not be full of freedom – but they do know how to do Christmas right.
Many of our favorite Christmas movies were filmed in New York City – from Miracle on 34th Street to Scrooged – and of course – Home Alone 2.
Movie producers know there is something special about NYC during the holidays – and while it’s great to see New York City decorated for Christmas on the screen – it’s even better in person.
If you’ve never personally seen New York City at Christmastime – it’s something you’ve got to do at least once.
Whether it’s ice-skating in Central Park, catching a Radio City Rockettes performance, or just sipping hot chocolate and soaking up the magnificent display of brightly-lit trees – New York City truly is the best at Christmastime.
28-Million LED Christmas Lights
Are you one of those people who still loves the awe and wonder of Christmas lights?
If so – you will be blown away by the Medellín Christmas Lighting Festival in Colombia, South America.
There’s a reason the Christmas Festival of Lights in Medellin is called the “world’s best festival of lights.”
National Geographic has even listed it as one of the best 10 in the world – and more than 4 million people visit each year!
If you want to see more than 30,500 handwoven figures surrounded by nearly 30 million LED lights – add Colombia to your list!
Biden and his Scrooge pals may have succeeded in canceling Christmas in past years – but don’t let them do it again!
Get out there and travel – and relish in the wonder and glory of Christmas.
Make this year a Christmas to remember!
