New York attracts a certain kind of tourist. Either the I-want-to-see-everything-once type, or the I-want-to-go-where-everybody-else-is-going type.
But there is no I-want-to-be-locked-in-a-room-forced-to-endure-painful-testing type of tourist.
And this is exactly how Governor Cuomo has pushed thousands of travelers away from the decaying state.
You may recall when we addressed Cuomo’s initial outlandish coronavirus response that dictated every person coming into New York had to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine – sick or not.
An “emergency health order” was issued for out-of-state visitors which required them to provide their personal information to the state government and sign a form agreeing to stay tucked away for 14 days if they came from one of Dr. Fauci’s “hot spots.”
If you failed to follow Cuomo’s orders like a good little liberal, then you faced a $2,000 fine – a price so steep that it would clean out the savings of most anyone.
Many a veteran and novice traveler alike were deterred from flying into the Empire State after the stringent order was issued.
But if you thought that was surely only the worst case scenario, think again.
Gov. Cuomo has managed to make flying into his state even more uninviting by stripping as many constitutional rights away as possible.
“With coronavirus cases surging throughout the United States, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Saturday that most travelers must now get Covid-19 tests before and after arrival in the state.”
That’s right, not one, but two COVID tests – even if you have no symptoms.
The left is doing all they can to achieve inflated infection rates to maintain control over its populace.
The timing of the new mandate is not by accident. Cuomo is expecting an influx of travelers flying in for Thanksgiving.
“People think they are safe if they are with people they know. Just because they’re your family doesn’t mean they’re safe from Covid,” Cuomo said according to CNN.
Within three days of arriving in New York, you will have to show negative results and then take another COVID test after quarantining for 3 days unless you’re from Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
“If the test says you’re positive, then you remain in quarantine,” Cuomo said. “If you choose not to get tested, then you remain in quarantine for the 14-day period.”
Any New York resident who travels out of state for more than 24 hours has to abide by the same testing mandate.
And like the previous rules for coming into the tyrant’s borders, you’ll be forced to divulge all your personal information during the process.
So, visit New York and experience invasion of privacy and discover infringement on your constitutional rights!
