As we’ve previously shared with our readers, infinity pools are the latest “must have” amenity featured at some of the world’s greatest resorts.
These pools seem to be popping up everywhere from Singapore, to Norway, to Washington DC.
And with the rise in popularity of these pools, everyone seems to be competing to offer the most unbelievable and mind-blowing infinity pool exclusively at their hotel or resort.
So we invite you to check out three of the most breathtaking infinity pools in the world!
World’s first 360-degree rooftop infinity pool
It was recently announced that the world’s first-360 degree infinity pool will be opening atop of a proposed skyscraper in London.
The skyscraper has been designed entirely around this rooftop pool that will come with a see-through floor and sides.
The pool will take up the entirety of the rooftop and will be accessible by an enclosed staircase that rises up out of the floor of the pool.
Hotel guests on the floor below can look up through the pool above, receiving natural light from outside.
Construction is slated to begin in 2020 and has a planned 55 floors. The rooftop will also feature lights, giving the appearance of a lit torch at night.
But this isn’t the only stunning new infinity pool set to be built. In Norway, one hotel has been designed with an interesting twist.
Gravity Defying Infinity Pool Overlooking A Fjord
There are many exceptional things about this hotel, but perhaps the most stunning of all is its gravity defying infinity pool.
The hotel itself is set in the side of a cliff and the pool will extend out from the cliff at a whopping 1900 feet overlooking a stunning Norwegian fjord.
While this hotel only contains 9 rooms, residents can visit for a guaranteed serene escape. The hotel will also feature a spa and restaurant.
But this pool won’t be for everyone. Those who have a phobia of heights would not care for this hotel – or its pool.
Speaking of heights, the final pick on our list is Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
