Westside Market
This historical landmark has roots stretching all the way back to the 1840s when it started off as “Pearl Street Market” before moving across the street in 1912 to its current and permanent location.
The Westside Market is home to Cleveland’s largest indoor/outdoor market and is a must visit spot while in Cleveland.
This massive structure has 44-foot high vaulted ceilings and is recognized by its clock tower which shoots up 137 feet into the air and can be seen in any direction.
But the Westside Market is more than just an impressive architectural feat.
The Food Network Magazine named Westside Market the “Best Food Lovers Market”.
And they weren’t lyin’.
More than 100 vendors gather 5 days a week and offer everything from organic vegetables to fresh beef and pork chops.
You can find almost anything you’re looking for, from cold brew coffee to spices and herbs.
And if strolling through the market stirs up your appetite and you can’t wait until you get home to grill some of the fresh meat you just bought, check out their onsite restaurant – The Westside Market Café.
Here you can feast on fresh food from Westside Market vendors and try everything from a gyro omelet to pulled pork sliders.
Bon Appétit.
