After two long brutal years of mask mandates and restrictions – some places are finally starting to ease up.
Perhaps politicians realize local businesses have suffered enough of a financial blow – although more likely, they’re riding the anti-mask wave in hopes of getting reelected.
But whatever the reason is – we don’t care! We’re just glad these major tourist destinations have finally stopped forcing people to wear masks.
In Nevada, Governor Steve Sisolak has lifted the statewide mask mandate – regardless of vaccination status!
No longer are tourists (and locals) forced to don an obnoxious mask while in the casinos unless a local mandate is in place.
Resorts World Las Vegas tweeted:
“Vegas is unmasked! The curtain has fallen. The roulette wheel is spinning. The stage is set. There’s never been a better time to get lucky in Vegas! #vegasunmasked”.
One of the most anti-liberty states in all of America has finally eliminated their ridiculous indoor mask mandate.
Governor Kathy Hochul dropped the mandate statewide – leaving it optional for businesses and local governments to enforce it if they choose to.
But don’t get too hopeful.
They are still pushing vaccines – even on children.
But at least if you visit NYC you can breathe freely – for now.
Yes, even liberal California is jumping on the new “anti-mask” bandwagon!
Well, kind of.
Up until recently, Disneyland forced children ages 2 and up to wear a mask – but they’ve finally axed their mandate thanks to new indoor mask guidelines in Cali.
Those who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear a mask while inside Disneyland (in most places) except for a few specific areas deemed “health settings” and transit.
Not perfect, but it’s a step in the right direction.
Oh – and you don’t have to show “proof” of vaccination either.
Fighting Back Against Biden’s New Normal
Even though Biden is completely fine with forcing 2-year-olds to wear masks at the airport or otherwise fine their families for “disobedience…
… thankfully some places are finally waking up and stopping the madness.
Oppression and control never works in the long run.
Sure, some compliance may have happened because of the mandates…
… mostly because people just wanted to live their lives and go out – so they wore the mask if that’s what they had to do.
But others flat out refused to frequent places that required kids to get vaccinated or wear a mask.
And the crushing economic blow throughout oppressive states likely played a huge role in politicians finally deciding to ease up their mandates.
Some hard-headed places are still forcing folks to wear masks – but we’ll see how long that lasts as the pressure to be mask-free is the popular option nationwide.
But remain vigilant – while we can see the light at the end of the tunnel in the blur of the past 2 years– we’re not in the clear just yet.
