Some states may pride themselves for their “vegan hotdogs” and mask mandates…
… but then there are also conservative states like the ones we’ve listed below who embrace the traditions and freedoms Americans have long cherished.
So if you’re looking to take a vacation and be around people cut from the same cloth as you – here are America’s most conservative states.
Mississippi
Ahh – the beauty of the Magnolia State.
There’s nothing more refreshing than taking a trip to a place like Mississippi where people are warm and hospitable…
… not like the liberal feminists in Washington D.C. screaming at you to “keep your hands off my uterus.”
It’s estimated more than half of Mississippians identify as conservative, so you won’t have to worry about criticizing Biden’s inflation disaster out loud – they’ll join in on the conversation right with you.
Unlike some states where its residents expect – and even want – the federal government to play God – folks down in Mississippi are known for going to church and living out traditional Biblical values.
In fact, you know you are visiting an ultra-conservative place when California banned travel to Mississippi for a period of time.
Pro-tip – don’t leave without trying the catfish!
Wyoming
You can tell a lot about a state based on their tax system.
While California continues to raise taxes and place the burden on families, Wyoming is just the opposite with low taxes all around.
The Tax Foundation reported:
“Wyoming does not have an individual income tax. Wyoming also does not have a corporate income tax. Wyoming has a 4.00 percent state sales tax, a max local sales tax rate of 2.00 percent, and an average combined state and local sales tax rate of 5.22 percent. Wyoming’s tax system ranks 1st overall on our 2022 State Business Tax Climate Index.”
It’s a beautiful day when people are allowed to keep more of their hard-earned money – at least at the state level.
And if you want to talk politics in Wyoming – you’re in good company.
Pew Research Center reports almost 60-percent of Wyoming natives identify as a Republican – and are eager to support conservative candidates across the board.
South Dakota
And of course, one of my favorite states to visit makes the cut.
Almost half the state of South Dakota identifies as conservative – with just over 10 percent embracing liberalism.
But the liberal minority is definitely drowned out as the policies in South Dakota support the freedoms our nation was founded upon – like the right to bear arms and live your life without the intrusion of government bureaucrats.
If you’ve never been to South Dakota – you are truly missing out.
The breathtaking views of the Badlands and the Black Hills will leave you in awe of God’s creation.
And you may even see a few buffalos roaming too!
But if you miss ‘em – don’t worry – you can always enjoy a buffalo burger at a diner down the road.
South Dakota is also home to Mount Rushmore – a true American classic every American should see in person at least once.
Endless Options
The good news is – there are dozens of other conservative states all across America – from the east coast to the west coast and all in between.
Liberals may have taken over some cities in America and ruined them for good – but the true spirit of American individualism is alive and well – and many people are living out the American dream and enjoying their freedom…
… or at least as best as they can under Biden’s tyrannical reign.
Stay tuned for part two where we’ll talk about the most liberal states in America.
Have you ever visited any of these conservative states?
If so, which one was your favorite?
