Perhaps you’ve seen them in movies – pools that seem to have no end, the water seamlessly merging out into the horizon.
These luxurious pools, known as infinity pools, are often featured at resorts or estates.
It was recently announced that the new TWA Hotel, scheduled to open at John F. Kennedy International Airport in May of 2019, will feature an infinity pool.
TWA Hotel describes this 63x20ft pool as being “inspired by the infinity edge pool at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap in France. The swimming spot has a beach entry and underwater seating—not to mention a gleaming TWA logo mosaic in the signature colors of gold and red.”
The hotel will also feature retro-style rooms, a cocktail lounge set inside a 1950s airplane, and an observation deck.
While we eagerly await the opening of TWA Hotel, Proud American Traveler offers you a list of some of the most beautiful infinity pools from around the world.
