While traveling our beautiful country – you are bound to come across cities full of friendly people who embrace freedom.
But then there are those liberal “safe havens” that embrace Big Brother politics and implement a slew of other anti-liberty policies.
So before you book your next trip – you might want to brace yourself if you choose to head to one of these cities.
New York City, New York

While there is so much to do in NYC – liberal bureaucrats have taken all the fun out of it.
During COVID-19, New York City forced visitors to show proof of vaccination before they could enter establishments – even extending the requirement to children.
But now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, New York’s radical Governor is literally inviting women to come into her state to kill their babies.
So much for respecting the freedom of all people.
And let’s face it – while NYC is a hustling and bustling city – it was also voted one of the top three dirtiest cities in the world!
From sewer rats to garbage piled up on the streets – it’s not surprising New York City took the second spot.
San Francisco, California

San Francisco loves their taxes! Boasting one of the highest income tax rates in the entire country – the taxes in San Francisco don’t just affect residents – but tourists too.
Want to go shopping?
The sales tax is a whopping 8.63 percent.
But besides high taxes and leftist policies – the people are…. well…. rude.
San Francisco was voted the rudest city in America!
Apparently, cyclists think they run the town – and will scream and yell at tourists and visitors for getting in their way.
And remember – it’s the people of San Francisco who keep electing Nancy Pelosi to stay in Congress – so if that’s any representation of what San Francisco is all about – count us out!
Portland, Oregon

Portland gained national attention when burning buildings and racist slurs defaced local businesses during the Black Lives Matter riots.
A heavily blue city, nearly 80 percent of residents vote Democrat.
And as we know, Democrat policies never actually benefit the people.
Even Portland residents have become fed up with their own city!
A poll conducted by DHM Research for the Portland Business Alliance revealed what most Americans already know – Portland is a mess!
KGW8-TV reported:
“88% said quality of life is getting worse
45% said homelessness is the city’s biggest problem, up from 24% in 2017
24% said crime is Portland’s biggest problem, up from 1% in 2020
Andrew Hoan, CEO of Portland Business Alliance, said the results surprised him.
“This is a historic response in terms of alignment of voters,” Hoan said, adding that voters are focused like never before on what’s wrong and feel current political leaders are not effective at bringing change.”
Were not surprised Mr. Hoan… when you have liberals ramming through radical policies that are out of touch with reality – these results are inevitable.
But let’s face it – all of Oregon is pretty bad.
Our former editor Matt Norris detailed the insane experience he had while visiting Bend, Oregon with his wife during the pandemic – where he was greeted by a bunch of angry Black Lives Matter protestors shouting profanities and calling them racist.
While his wife was recording the incident, one angry protestor screamed out, “Then get the f*** out of Bend, you racist mother******s.”
Stay classy, Oregon!
Parting Thoughts
Look – I’m sure there are lovely people who live in all of these cities. And there’s clearly many attractions and things to do.
But how a city is governed truly matters – and oppressive policies, high taxes, and rude, entitled liberals are enough to keep some travelers out.
You may still choose to walk into the belly of the beast – and if so – rock on.
But make sure you don’t wear a “Trump is still my president” shirt or “Trump 2024” hat – or you just might get shot.
Have you ever visited any of these three “obnoxious” cities?
If so, what was your experience like?
