After being locked in our homes for nearly two years – now more than ever we need to rock out this Fourth of July and celebrate our liberty and freedom.
Whether you want to jam out to some patriotic bluegrass, be entertained by a magnificent fireworks show, or learn more about our nation’s history – we’ve got you covered.
Here are the best places in America to celebrate liberty with other freedom lovin’ patriots.
Washington D.C.
Biden may rule the White House – but even his tyrannical reign can’t stop proud American patriots from celebrating America’s greatness.
You can start your day over on Barracks Row and check out the Capitol Hill Community 4th of July Parade, then head down to Constitution Avenue to watch America’s “biggest and best” Independence Day Parade.
For the evening festivities, arrive early on the West Lawn of the Capitol for a free Independence Day Concert – and of course the epic annual fireworks display.
Fireworks are always great, but there’s something extra patriotic about seeing them launch over the reflecting pool with the national monuments in the background.
San Antonio, Texas
There’s always a good reason to visit Texas – but especially on the Fourth of July.
You can check out the official fireworks show over Woodlawn Lake – after enjoying a day full of live music, carnival games, food trucks, and a host of other activities.
If you have an adventurous streak – Six Flags is hosting a “Texas Coca-Cola July 4th Fest” all weekend, complete with live music and fireworks shows ALL THREE DAYS!
SeaWorld San Antonio is also throwing a weekend-long patriotic bash complete with pyrotechnicians and a colorful flame show set to music. And remember – they’re even giving away free beer to guests.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
There’s something extra special about celebrating our liberty in the city where it all began.
In Philadelphia – their weeklong celebrations include everything from free concerts, craft beer gardens, food trucks, parades, and of course an incredible fireworks display over the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
If you arrive in Philly a day early – you can check out POPS on Independence – where the internationally famous POPS Orchestra will put on a free performance of patriotic songs to honor our nation’s traditions.
While these cities are our top spots to celebrate the Fourth – don’t knock your own hometown celebrations.
Gathering within your own community to watch the local parade and fireworks show is often a beloved family tradition.
But no matter where you live, be sure to rock it out this Fourth of July – decked out in your American Flag t-shirt and all – and celebrate our nation’s freedom from tyranny.
Happy Fourth of July!
