After years of suffering through canceled flights, mask mandates, and closed borders – travelers are ready to get out there and hit the skies like never before.
And while Biden and his liberal pals still try to scare folks – by now most of us are ignoring his threats.
In fact, a new trend dubbed “revenge travel” is picking up steam – and just wait until you hear what travelers are up to now.
The truth is, travelers all around the world were affected as the world essentially shut down for almost two years.
From canceled family reunions to postponed honeymoons – people’s lives were destroyed thanks to oppressive mandates and government control.
Before the pandemic hit, many people took travel for granted.
Never did we dream there would be a day we couldn’t board a cruise ship – or visit our favorite destination.
Or be forced to get vaccinated or wear a mask just to enter our favorite restaurant.
But then COVID-19 hit – and the world was shaken to its core.
As people were essentially trapped in their homes like prisoners, a wanderlust mentality began to develop – with people planning their dream vacation in anticipation for the day they’d finally be free to travel again.
Well that day is finally here!
But instead of searching for budget-friendly hotels and quick weekend trips, travelers are going all out – no longer taking anything for granted – and booking the most incredible vacations.
CNN reported:
“Expedia’s survey found that 60% of consumers had plans to travel domestically and 27% to travel internationally in 2022.
And many of these travelers are willing to spend more money on a vacation than they would have in the past.
Two-ish years of staying home means that some people have saved up money and can now splurge on a fancier hotel, a first-class airplane ticket or a spendy once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
Instead of a quick weekend trip to Ocean City to hit the beach – travelers are planning international trips and indulging in luxurious experiences.
Turks and Caicos is a popular choice for many as this beautiful destination offers world-class beach resorts and spas you won’t find anywhere else.
From sandy white beaches to crystal blue waters – travelers can go on a snorkeling adventure or shop and eat their hearts out sampling only the best cuisine.
But it’s not cheap – a weeklong stay at a beach resort with excursions can come to about $9,000 for two people, reports Forbes.
While many people can afford such luxurious trips – not all of us can – at least not right now.
Biden’s failed policies have led to a record-high inflation rate and soaring gas prices…
… leaving many people without any extra funds leftover to take their dream trip just yet.
But rest assured – revenge travel is alive and well – and expect this summer to have the travel industry explode like we haven’t seen in decades.
Where do you plan on taking out your “revenge travel” this summer?
If you could visit any place in the world what would it be?
