Don’t Get Distracted
It’s the oldest trick in a book.
A young boy stops you and strikes up a conversation, completing distracting you from your surroundings.
Or, a seemingly innocent widow may beg you for change, drawing you near.
But before you realize what hit you, your wallet is gone. Because you had it in your back pocket.
You see, pick-pockets often work in pairs.
One works to distract you, while the other snatches your wallet or snaps your shoulder purse right off and sprints away before you even know what happened.
It’s fine to talk to people, but stay aware of your surroundings at all times.
Remember, thieves are better at being thieves than you are.
