A weary world is desperate to return to any sense of normalcy – and people are willing to do anything to regain their “freedom” – even if they end up giving more control to the government in the long run.
In Israel, there are now two classes of people – those who have been vaccinated and are allowed out, and those who have not and are still shunned from society.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer – and just wait until you see the dangerous blueprint Israel has laid out for the world to follow.
Earlier this year, Israel instituted the “Green Pass” which essentially allows those who have been vaccinated to partake in activities others cannot.
All one has to do is have their digital passport scanned and they’re able to enter establishments that remain off limits to those who haven’t been fully vaccinated.
USA TODAY reports:
“Malls and museums have reopened for all, but green pass holders get exclusive access to gyms, hotels, theatres, and concerts, albeit with some limits.”
That’s right – no green pass, no access.
But it’s not just major event gatherings using this tool – it’s even trickled down to restaurants and smaller establishments.
Only those who have their Green Pass are allowed to dine inside – the non-vaccinated folks must eat outdoors.
Talk about a modern version of The Scarlet Letter.
Even scarier, the incentive to regain any sense of normalcy and pressure to join the vaccinated crowd seems to be working. Israel has one of the highest vaccinated populations in the world with over 50-percent of its citizens having already received both doses.
Other countries are already talking about following a similar path and creating their own version of the Green Pass.
Even in the United States, liberal safe havens like New York have started to roll out their copy of the Green Pass – the “Excelsior Pass.”
And the way things are headed, those who aren’t vaccinated truly won’t be allowed to live a normal life because they’ll be barred from entering various establishments and forbidden to attend events.
But is all of this really keeping people “safe”?
The crazy thing is, those who have their Green Pass in Israel are still required to wear masks and social distance!
So, what’s the point of getting the vaccine then?
If it’s so effective – why the mask?
Not to mention, the thought of giving any bureaucrat access to sensitive and personal information is absolutely terrifying.
There’s no guarantee the data will be safe – nor is there an established protocol on how it will be used.
And if the government learns they can essentially force people into vaccination by holding their freedom hostage, there’s no telling how far they’ll go.
While many Israelis are jumping at the chance to get their Green Pass in order to enjoy life again – not all citizens are on board.
Anti-Green Pass protests and rallies have been staged around Israel speaking out against the tyranny and injustice.
The Jerusalem Post reported:
“Speakers and protestors alike called for more “government transparency,” and to “stop tyranny.” The protesters demanded that the government remove a 30-year embargo on the details of the Constitution Committee’s meetings on coronavirus restrictions and cancel the green passport initiative, which they say leads to a two-tier system within Israeli society: a privileged “vaccinated class” and an lower class of those who can’t get the vaccine, or don’t want to.”
It’s natural people want to get their lives back and take part in society – but giving the government more control over one’s life is never the way to do it.
Today it’s the Green Pass.
Tomorrow, who knows.
And if you think something so extreme could never happen here in America – it’s already begun.
