After years of COVID-19 restrictions and ruined vacations – travelers were finally able to breathe as the world opened back up.
But now in the latest hysteria push – the CDC is raising the travel alert again – and you won’t believe why.
And when you hear what could be in store for American travelers this summer – you’re bound to be outraged.
Just when we thought we were done with diseases and viruses – monkeypox makes the news.
The hysteria is already starting – and some are making travelers nervous about contracting it and cautioning them against travel.
In fact, the World Health Organization (WHO) already has plans to meet to determine if monkeypox is an “international emergency.”
The Times Of India reported:
“The outbreak of monkeypox is unusual and concerning,” World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told journalists.
“For that reason I have decided to convene the Emergency Committee under the international health regulations next week, to assess whether this outbreak represents a public health emergency of international concern”.
Sound familiar?
It’s eerily similar to how the COVID-19 lockdowns began.
Once something is deemed an “international crisis” – all bets are off – and civil liberties go out the window.
And of course, the CDC is weighing in – and has already raised the travel alert to a Level 2 which is defined as “practicing enhanced precautions.” A Level 3 would be the highest alert and cautions against non-essential travel.
Forbes reported:
“The guidance includes wearing face masks while traveling as well as avoiding close contact with sick animals and people, especially those with skin lesions.”
The CDC has also brilliantly warned travelers to avoid wild animals like rats and rodents both dead or alive – and avoid eating meat from wild game.
But after being trapped inside for nearly two years – Americans are making up for lost time and taking “revenge travel” trips all around the world.
And now, we’re only one level away from being advised not to travel unless it’s essential again?!
It’s almost like the CDC can’t bear the thought of losing control over Americans – so they’re weighing-in on anything they can.
And let’s face it – there’s always going to be some outbreak of something, somewhere.
Every traveler prepares for international travel in their own way.
Some may choose to bring malaria pills if they are going to a place like India. Others may want to get certain shots to protect against typhoid if they’re staying in a developing country for a long period of time.
And some travelers simply pack a few Band-Aids, some aspirin, and go.
That’s the beauty of choice – travelers are free to make whatever the best decisions are for themselves and their families.
Whenever international organizations gather to determine whether the latest disease or virus has reached an “international crisis” – trouble awaits.
We know Biden wants to continue his crusade against freedom-loving Americans and dictate where – and even if – we can travel. But if he tries to keep people locked up in their homes again – it won’t end well.
While many people fell in line in the beginning of the pandemic – rightfully scared of the unknown – after experiencing the whiplash of mandates and contradicting restrictions, most people have grown to fiercely distrust Fauci and the CDC.
At least for now, Americans can still travel if they take “enhanced precautions” – but we’ll see how long it takes for bureaucrats in Washington D.C. to slap down another mandate.
What are your thoughts on the CDC raising the travel alert for monkeypox?
Do you think Biden and Fauci will try to hold people hostage again and prevent them from traveling?
