As leftist states continue to ram through oppressive “safety” mandates at record speed, at least kids had been off limits – until now.
In Hawaii, politicians thought it would be a good idea to force adults to get vaccinated in order to dine indoors.
But instead of gearing their absurd mandates just towards adults – they’re now forcing kids ages 12 and up to comply. And just wait until you hear the details.
Yes, we’ve officially come to a time in our country where a child is forced to be vaccinated in order to eat in a restaurant with mom and dad.
The office of the Mayor in Honolulu released the following ordinance outlining the awful things in store for those who visit the Aloha State.
“Effective September 13, 2021, all covered entities shall not permit a patron to enter covered premises without displaying proof of full vaccination, and identification bearing the same identifying information as the proof of full vaccination.
Furthermore, all covered entities shall not permit a full or part-time employee, intern, volunteer, or contractor to enter covered premises without proof of full vaccination.”
The ordinance goes on to list a few exceptions – such as excluding children under the age of 12 and exempting those who are inside a restaurant for 15 minutes or less.
There’s also a clause that allows entry for those who have valid proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours.
Yeah… like those who want to avoid the shot are going to pay to take a COVID-19 test at least 48 hours in advance every time they want to visit an indoor premise.
They won’t – so once again businesses will continue to suffer because people will just stay home.
And which businesses fall under this latest mandate?
In addition to restaurants and bars – Hawaii decided to include every form of entertainment one could possibly want to enjoy on their vacation.
The ordinance outlines a list which includes:
“Bowling alleys, arcades, pool/billiard halls, movie theaters, museums, other
recreational game or entertainment centers, and the indoor portions of botanical gardens, aquariums, zoos, sea life attractions, commercial recreational boating, public and private commercial pools, shooting/archery ranges, and other commercial attractions (cultural attractions, go kart, mini golf)”.
Yep – they’re not leaving anything out.
While many adults reluctantly got the COVID-19 jab – after being lured with the promise they could finally be “mask-free” – adults are hesitant to force their kids to get the shot.
While wearing a mask is annoying, forcing healthy adults to get the COVID-19 shot is a whole new level of tyranny.
But this latest mandate is on par with how Hawaii has handled the entire COVID-19 pandemic.
And despite the massive blow to their economy, Hawaiian politicians are still effectively telling travelers to stay away – even trying to persuade airlines to offer less seats on their planes.
So if you’re planning a Hawaiian vacation this fall or winter – you’ve been warned.
Since Hawaii is begging people to stay away anyway, with this latest mandate, they just might get their wish.
Do you think children should be forced to show proof of vaccination just to eat inside a restaurant?
