Traveling with a toddler is always a challenge – but a recent family vacation turned into a nightmare thanks to Southwest Airlines.
A family voluntarily chose to deboard their plane out of fear of being arrested – simply because their little 3-year-old boy couldn’t keep his mask on.
And you’re bound to be outraged once you hear the way airlines continue to target and harass families.
To start – it’s absurd Americans are still being forced to wear masks.
While the mask mandate has been lifted in some states, especially for vaccinated Americans – it’s still a requirement on airlines and public transportation.
Oh, and there’s the leftist cities like Los Angeles who are forcing both unvaccinated and vaccinated Americans to wear a mask while indoors!
Ridiculous.
And yes – thanks to Biden – all adults have to wear a certain type of mask when in an airport or flying.
Airlines are obsessed with reminding you about this too – even printing it on their napkins in case you didn’t hear it announced enough before your flight.
I recently got back from flying Southwest and was admittedly annoyed by the “napkin reminder” to keep my mask on between sips of my beverage.

And if adults like me struggle to keep a mask on during a long flight – I can’t even imagine how difficult it is for toddlers.
Eric Hansen learned the hard way just how ruthless some flight attendants could be when he struggled to get his 3-year-old toddler to keep his mask on before takeoff.
Instead of showing patience or compassion, or even giving the family time to work with their little one, flight attendants were insistent the child put his mask on NOW.
When it became clear the little boy needed more time but that flight attendants wouldn’t grant the family even a few moments, the family chose to voluntarily get off the plane, fearing arrest if the situation escalated further.
Thanks to Southwest Airlines, the family had to spend an extra night in Vegas, without their checked luggage.
KROHN 4 reported:
“They should have given us more time, maybe walked away and said we will give you five or 10 minutes, but their flight was late so I think they were trying to make time they just wanted us off the plane and they didn’t give us any time to talk him through it and try to get him to put it on,” Hansen said.
When Eric Hansen emailed Southwest, the management “apologized” for his experience – but also reminded him of the federal mask mandate that states all those over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask or else may be “refused transportation.”
Sadly, this isn’t the first time Southwest has terrorized its passengers.
In the past, they’ve faced public heat for booting a family with special needs off the plane.
The reality is, Biden’s mandates have produced an unprecedented level of travel anxiety.
Families are so terrified of getting arrested OVER A MASK – they’re willing to deboard a plane and pay to stay an extra night (without their luggage) just to escape the viciousness of airline employees.
It is beyond cruel to torture families because a little one struggles to keep their mask on.
And now with cities ramping up mask mandates again, it’ll likely be a long time before we ever taste true freedom again – if that day ever comes at all.
