Chaos continued at U.S. airports over the weekend with over 2,000 Southwest flights abruptly canceled due to “bad weather” and “air traffic control” issues, according to Southwest Airlines.
But these delays happened right after Southwest announced they would force their employees to comply with Biden’s vaccine mandate – leading many to believe the cancelations were due to pilots pushing back.
So just what was the real reason behind Southwest’s massive delays and flight cancelations?
One can only speculate.
Biden’s oppressive sweeping executive order gives government contractors until December 8th to get vaccinated, or else lose their job.
Millions of Americans will be forced to choose between getting the shot – or earning a paycheck to feed their families.
Southwest is the latest airline to pledge compliance to Biden’s vaccine plan…
… even though the outgoing Southwest CEO Gary Kelly admits he doesn’t particularly like the forced mandate. But, he says, he feels he has no other choice.
CNBC reported:
“I’ve never been in favor of corporations imposing that kind of a mandate. I’m not in favor of that. Never have been,” Kelly said in an interview on “Squawk on the Street.”
“But the executive order from President Biden mandates that all federal employees and then all federal contractors, which covers all the major airlines, have to have a [vaccine] mandate … in place by Dec. 8, so we’re working through that.”
It’s reported around 56,000 employees at Southwest will need to get vaccinated if they want to keep their jobs.
Unconscionable.
And once word got around that Southwest Airlines would force their employees to comply with the mandate, pilots started calling in sick and wouldn’t pick up extra flights – allegedly leading to more than 2,000 flight cancellations.
Complete chaos.
So is it a coincidence that Southwest Airlines faced massive cancelations once they told their employees they’d be forced to take the jab?
Both Southwest Airlines and the Southwest Airline Pilots Association insist the delays had nothing to do with Biden’s latest vaccine mandate.
The Points Guy reported:
“The Southwest Airline Pilots Association (SWAPA), the airline’s pilots’ union, adamantly denied that there was any kind of walkout or job action taking place.
“I can say with certainty that there are no work slowdowns or sickouts either related to the recent mandatory vaccine mandate or otherwise,” members of SWAPA leadership wrote in a statement on Sunday, echoing a Saturday statement in which the union said “we can say with confidence that our Pilots are not participating in any official or unofficial job actions.”
But then a lawsuit was filed in federal court to halt the vaccine mandate until the airline and the union can determine how it will play out.
Paddle Your Own Kanoo reported:
“The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association (SWAPA) filed a lawsuit in federal court on Friday asking for an injunction to be granted against the airline’s vaccine mandate until the airline starts negotiations with the union over how the mandate will be implemented.”
The “new normal” in our beautiful country continues to be poisoned and eroded by the policies of Biden and his liberal pals.
Americans should have the freedom to choose whether to get vaccinated or not.
But we’ve officially come to the point in our nation where Joe Biden’s mandates could force millions of Americans to lose their jobs if they don’t get jabbed.
And it’s not just airline employees they’re gunning for.
If Biden and Fauci have their way – YOU too will be forced to get the shot just to travel within the borders of your own country.
Complete madness.
We’ll see how things play out in the upcoming weeks, but given the fact that thousands of flights have already being canceled – and we haven’t even entered the holiday season yet – this winter is shaping up to be a snowy nightmare.
Do you agree with forced vaccinations?
Should Southwest employees lose their jobs if they don’t get vaccinated?
