In order to prevent known or suspected terrorists from boarding aircrafts to travel into, out of, or within the United States, a national “no-fly” list exists.
But Delta Airlines is seeking to introduce a different kind of “no-fly” list – only instead of terrorists, they want airlines to share the names of all passengers who have ever been kicked off a flight… even for something as harmless as not wearing a mask.
So, just what exactly is their motive?
They want to make sure these “punished passengers” never fly again.
Currently, if a person gets booted off of a particular airline, they are still free to fly with a different airline.
But Delta wants to eliminate this completely.
In fact, Delta wants all shamed passengers compiled into a master database so they’ll never be able to board a commercial airline again.
Delta proudly posted their request for this invasive national database hoping other airlines would get onboard.
A Delta memo reported:
“At Delta, we now have more than 1,600 people on our “no fly” list, and we’ve submitted more than 600 banned names to the FAA in 2021 as part of their Special Emphasis Enforcement Program.
We’ve also asked other airlines to share their “no fly” list to further protect airline employees across the industry – something we know is top of mind for employees as well.
A list of banned customers doesn’t work as well if that customer can fly with another airline.”
Madness.
So a flight attendant on a power trip could make the decision to boot a passenger off the plane, preventing them from ever flying Delta again…
… and Delta thinks this booted passenger should be banned from flying permanently, even with a different airline.
Talk about unprecedented power.
So just who would be effected by this “no fly” list?
Remember the Navy Seal who killed Osama Bin Laden?
Yeah… he was booted off a Delta flight… over a MASK.
So even though he took down one of the most hunted terrorists in the world, Delta feels he no longer deserves the freedom to travel within his own country.
Same with the dozens of families with special needs children who were booted off flights for “not wearing a mask properly.”
Or the black conservative Trump supporter who was banned from flying with American Airlines.
His crime?
They didn’t like his medical exemption that prevented him from wearing a mask.
Oh – and they didn’t even bother to tell him he was banned until he showed up for his flight!
Thankfully, he was able to hitch a ride with Southwest Airlines.
But…
… should Delta get their way, once someone gets booted from one airline, they’ll be prohibited from traveling with all airlines.
From banning passengers for being “rude” to mocking deaf passengers, stressed-out flight attendants have inherited power like the world has never seen.
But to think they can play a role in making sure a passenger loses their freedom to travel forever…
… unthinkable.
However, if Delta’s dream becomes a universal reality, it will bring our “new-normal” to a whole new level of insanity.
Do you agree with Delta’s desire to create a national “no-fly” list so that passengers who’ve been kicked off an airline can never fly again?
