If you don’t wear a face mask – you aren’t allowed to board your plane.
But apparently these days even if you DO wear a mask and it happens to have an American flag on it – you can’t board your plane either because your mask could be “offensive” to other passengers.
Airlines seem to love harassing travelers, and this time they’ve targeted a federal air marshal (FAM), simply loving his country.
The FAM was ready to board his plane, when the gate agent told him he couldn’t board with his American flag mask – and proceeded to hand him a disposable mask.
In full compliance, the FAM puts on the disposable mask AND the American flag mask over it.
Double masks – airlines should rejoice at the “extra protection”, right?!
Not so much.
The agent insisted he would not be allowed on the plane as long as he was wearing an American flag mask.
The National Association Of Police Organizations (NAPO) wrote a scathing letter to Frontier Airlines CEO criticizing their blatant double-standard in terms of what is “offensive.”
Fox News reported:
“The FAM politely put the disposable mask on and then covered that mask with this American Flag mask,” NAPO wrote. “The Gate Agent then told him to remove the American Flag mask or he would not be allowed to board the plane as it would create issues with the other passengers.”
NAPO went on to claim that “several passengers with Black Lives Matter masks boarded the plane.”
“The fact that a Frontier Airlines Gate Agent told the FAM to remove his mask because the image of an American Flag would inflame tensions with other passengers is indefensible,” NAPO wrote, adding that it was “insulting that an American Flag face mask would be deemed so controversial.”
“Wearing an American Flag face mask is not a political statement; it is proudly showing support for our country,” NAPO added. “The Gate Agent made it political, particularly given the other masks that were allowed without issue on the plane.”
It appears liberal gate agents have the authority to police what type of masks passengers can wear.
And these days, airlines have made it clear they are gunning after American heroes.
Conservative Black Trump Supporter?
Banned.
Ex- Navy Seal who killed Osama Bin Laden, the world’s most dangerous terrorist?
Banned.
And now, a federal air marshal who is just trying to do his job and make sure terrorists don’t hijack a plane is told he can’t board unless he removes his “offensive” American flag mask?
Give me a break.
Are airlines really going to start policing what kind of masks people wear now?
Black Lives Matter activists can board a plane with a “BLM” mask…
… even though their anti-American pro-Marxist movement is content with destroying America and burning businesses to the ground.
But an American flag is “offensive”?
A mom and her six kids get booted off a plane because the young 2-year old can’t keep her mask on…
… yet “emotional support” pigs and birds can roam down the aisle harassing passengers?
It’s clear airlines are using the pandemic to reveal their true colors – which apparently don’t bleed red, white, and blue.
Of course, after the negative press, Frontier Airlines tried to claim it was a “misunderstanding” and the gate agent was “confused” on what types of mask were allowed.
We aren’t buying it.
