Church of All Nations (Jerusalem)
The Church of All Nations is an incredible place believed to be the exact location of Christ’s final hours.
This church, also known as the Basilica of the Agony, is located on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
It is also next to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Christ stayed up praying the night before Judas Iscariot betrayed him and handed him over to the Roman soldiers to be crucified.
This church features stunning Byzantine architecture and mosaics, while the building itself combines traditional European architecture with regional designs.
After touring the church, be sure to visit the olive garden with trees thought to date all the way back to Christ’s time.
However, the prominent feature of this church is a fragment of the rock that Christ kneeled on as he prayed in agony, which is surrounded by an iron crown of thorns.
The Garden Tomb (Jerusalem)
The Garden Tomb, located near the Damascus Gate just outside of Jerusalem’s city walls, is the location many believe was Christ’s tomb.
This location, as well as Calvary, is likely the most significant place of the Christian faith. It is here that Christ was buried after suffering and dying on the cross for the sins of the world. It’s also the location of His resurrection, where He overcame sin and death and rose again.
People from all over the world come here to worship.
Vatican City, Rome
The Vatican in Rome is one of the most historically important places of Christianity. For hundreds of years, the Vatican was the center of the growing faith and influenced everything from music, to science, to priceless works of art and architecture.
One of the most prominent works of art is the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, famously painted by Michelangelo.
Museums and other sites are located throughout the city for visitors to learn the history of our faith and the Church.

The path begins at Antonia Fortress and continues to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It is marked with 9 of the 14 Stations of the Cross, with the remaining located inside the church.
Many believers make pilgrimages here, especially during Holy Week, to worship and meditate on Christ’s sacrifice for us and His suffering while on this path.
